What is The Ink Grid for studios?
Most studio websites are static — a list of names and maybe a few photos, rarely updated, and often invisible in the searches clients actually run for the individual tattooer they are looking for.
The Ink Grid gives your studio its own living, public profile on the platform — visible in The Studio Grid, alongside the individual profiles of your affiliated tattooers. Clients can find you as a studio, and find the specific tattooer they are looking for, all from the same place.
And because a studio is rarely one person, studio plans are built accordingly: you pay for seats, not for individual subscriptions. The tattooers you affiliate with your studio get Artist Pro features included — without needing to set up a paid subscription themselves.

Frequently asked questions
Do my tattooers have to pay for Artist Pro themselves?
No. As long as they are assigned a seat on your paid studio plan, they get Artist Pro features included — no separate payment required.
What happens if we change plans or lose a tattooer?
Seats can be released and reassigned as your team changes. An individual tattooer’s profile stays active even if they lose their seat — they simply revert to Artist Free features, unless they choose to upgrade themselves.
Can we start free and upgrade later?
Yes. Studio Free lets you create the studio and set up your name and address while you decide which paid plan fits your team.
Does our studio also need manual approval?
Yes, just like individual artist profiles, every studio is manually reviewed before becoming visible on the platform.
