Say hey to Tashi.

A multi-instrumentalist hailing from Perth whose talent reaches far beyond the realms of music. As the first muso to kick off The Ink Grid Print Launch, she's also our first feature.

If you had to describe your music in three words, how would you describe it?

Something you'd like.

What’s the story on how you started playing?

When I was 12 I started teaching myself drums and guitar on the same day. I had been playing piano and violin since a youngster already. Music and rhythm always came very naturally to me and I just followed my heart!

What’s the most rewarding part about being a part of the music scene?

Meeting cool/important people and it turning out they already know who you are.

What about the music scene do you wish you could change?

Better lighting on stage.

Tell us about the vibes we can expect from your set at The Ink Grid launch.

Cool upbeat acoustic vibes, a bit of roots, roll and indie funk.

Are you getting up to anything cool for the rest of the year?

I hope to start my next EP soon.
